Okay, after talking to the parents, the plan is that I'm going to drive back to Tennessee tomorrow. My grandmother is still alive, if barely, and if nothing else I'll get to say my goodbyes this way. If the funeral takes place by next Wednesday or so, then I'll attend; otherwise, I'll miss it since they really need me back at work by next Friday. ( ( Read more... )

The doctor has basically said that, if nothing changes, he doesn't expect her to last the week.
